3 biggest lessons after reaching 20,000 followers
A couple of weeks ago I hit 20,000 followers.
But it wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows.
It was a bumpy ride with mostly downs and some highs.
So here are 3 things that I’ve learned the most after reaching 20,000 followers and writing online for 20 months…
1) Writing on social media is the best way to start, build, and grow your business.
Employers, prospects, and customers are online.
It should be clear by now that the world is going digital.
People no longer care about ads.
Street advertising is dead.
Social media ads are skipped in an instant.
Prospects only buy from people they like to see, read, and consume their content.
This is why writing is so important.
Why?
Because it's the foundation of all media.
Tweets? Writing.
Threads? Writing.
Instagram posts? Writing.
Podcasts? Better done with a written outline.
YouTube videos? Better done with a written script.
This is why many people sell writing courses.
But there's a problem with their courses.
Which leads me to my next point…
2) Most courses are outdated and don't work.
Algorithms change.
The people who are selling "write on social media" courses did it back in 2020, when it was 100x easier to grow.
Even a monkey typing gibberish would've built an audience.
Those creators haven't updated their methods. They're teaching you what worked back in 2020, not 2025.
They haven't updated their course or material since they launched it. They made their money from launching the course and forgot about it.
This is the biggest realization I had. If you want to see results in the "here and now", you need to follow people who are seeing results now, not in the past.
This is one of the reasons why I decided to build this product.
I don't want to see you struggle and waste months of your life trying to figure out how to grow an audience on social media.
3) Growth will solve all your business problems.
I used to spend hours trying to sell an offer to an email list of 70 people and only 1 person would end up buying.
But after gaining 20,000 followers, I had a problem of having too many people wanting to work with me.
It’s a good problem to have.
All of that happened because I had growth. Growth is what you need to succeed.
Because once you have growth, you don't have a customer problem. Once you have growth, your evaluation goes up. Once you have growth, doors open up for you.
Growth is the #1 thing that will keep driving your business forward.
If you're not growing, your business is dying.
Speaking of anyone can do it and growth…
I just opened the doors for The Modern Creator Bootcamp. It’s designed to help you get similar results as I have (in a much shorter time).
It’s currently on a $250 early-bird pre-sale for the next 8 people.
This is to reward people who take action quickly.
But please note… this pre-sale will be gone on Monday 5 p.m. EST (5 days from now)

P.S.
Starting a personal brand isn’t reserved for experts, business owners, or anyone.
It’s open for everyone.
You don’t need to be an expert. You don’t need to have “high-value skills”. You just need an idea you believe in and the confidence to share it with the world.
I started as a complete beginner. I was still in university and managed to build a successful micro business.
So if you want to start a micro business that is fun, easy, and doesn’t take your entire day to run…
The Modern Creator Bootcamp is for you.
$250 off for the next 8 people.
