The biggest mistake solopreneurs make

It took me over 4 months to realize my mistake

For the past 2 weeks, I’ve been trying to go and see the movie Dune 2 but never had the chance to.

I’ve always kept saying “I’ll go when I feel like I earned it” or “There is more work that needs to be finished”.

And as solopreneurs and creators, you know that there will always be more work to be done.

But when I started reading a new book called 4-Hour Work Week, I landed on something that hit me like a wake-up call.

Here’s what he said:

People don’t want to be millionaires—they want to experience what $1,000,000 could buy. It’s the lifestyle of complete freedom that it allows.

Tim (that’s the name of the author)

And it’s true.

I mean what’s the point of you making money, or working more if you never get the chance to enjoy the fruits of your hard work?

Here’s how I see things:

A person making $50,000 but has complete control over his life is wealthier than someone making $500,000 who never has the time to take a break.

As you can tell by now, this newsletter is going to be a short one (I’m just sharing my thoughts on how I want to build my brand and business).

Retirement is when you stop sacrificing today for an imaginary tomorrow

I want to leave a message for you today:

Stop thinking that you haven’t earned a break, or you can’t enjoy life because there is more work that needs to be finished.

I operated in that way for the past 4 months and I can’t remember when was the last time I enjoyed my weekend or days for that matter.

Cuz as solopreneurs we’re doing everything in the business:

• Selling
• Writing
• Engaging
• Designing
• Marketing
• Learning new skills

The list keeps going.

If you’re a student or a full-time employee your hands are already full and you don’t manage your time, you’ll wake up one day and realize you haven’t been enjoying life and that you’ve been working yourself to death.

With that being said…

It’s been your host for the evening,
