The reason why most people can't sell as much with their offers

(and how you can avoid it)

In the last 2 weeks, I’ve reviewed 9 different offers from different creators. They were awesome offers.

But I couldn’t help but notice a mistake almost all of them did that would result in less sales:

Being clever with their writing, not clear.

Now, I’m not the best copywriter, nor do I claim to be an expert on copywriting.

But after writing online for 13 months, creating an offer from scratch, writing a landing page, and launching a course, I did manage to learn a thing or two when it comes to copywriting and writing offers.

Especially writing offers that convert prospects into happy paying customers.

I’m telling you from personal experience:

Clever writing is your enemy.

You spend hours writing, editing, and marketing your offer but when it comes to launch day…

You don’t hear the cheers of your fans who bought your offer…

Rather, you hear cricket noises and then start feeling like you’re not good enough to be successful in the creator business.

Why?

Because you tried to make a smart joke or reference and nobody understood it and it threw people off.

Clever writing leads to confusion.

And if you confuse, you lose.

So instead of trying to sound clever and show people that you don’t know what you’re doing (because incompetent people try to sound smart to hide the fact they don’t know what they’re doing), be clear.

It’s easier for you to write, and it’s easier for your prospect to read.

It’s a win-win.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to go for a quick 5k run.

See you on Thursday,

— Hussain

PS:

Spotting your own mistakes is hard. Especially after you’ve been editing the same paragraphs for hours.

This is because you’re too tunnel-visioned. And it’s not your fault, it’s our monkey brains playing tricks on us.

Luckily, there’s a quick and easy fix to this problem:

Let someone else review it for you and listen to their feedback

So, if you’re working on a new offer, reviewing your current offer, or wanting to improve an offer you already have and want someone to review it.

Send it my way. I’d love to review your offer and share my thoughts with you (no strings attached).
