I'm burning money...

Friend: "How often do you send emails?"

Me: "Once a week"

Friend: "What are you doing? Are you even trying to make your personal brand your full-time job? You should be sending 5 emails per week. MINIMUM."

I nodded my head and said: "You're right. I'm doing things wrong."

This was a conversation I was having with a friend the other day.

Now I didn't agree with him, I just said it because I couldn't be bothered to argue with him why I prefer sending weekly emails.

Because here's what most creators see their email list as:

Money printing machines.

They see their readers as numbers on a screen.

Nothing more. Nothing less.

When my friend knew that I was sending 1 email per week, he thought I was burning money.

But you and I?

We know that money isn't everything.

Relationships are.

Because when you start treating your readers as cash cows, they'll eventually catch on and stop buying from you.

But if you treat your readers like they're your friend, then they won't be one-off customers, they'll become raving fans.

They'll go and buy all your products, tell their friends about you, and support you no matter what.

And to me, having that type of relationship with you is more important than any money could buy.

But there are a million different ways you can build relationships with your readers.

The easiest one?

Sending story-based emails.

And if interested in seeing how you can start writing story-based emails that build your relationships, reputation, and revenue, then I highly suggest you pick up Magnetic Emails.

In it, you'll have a 6-step process that will help you go from a blank canvas to a fully polished email that's ready to be sent to your readers (even if you've never written an email before).

So I highly recommend you have a crack at it.

Just send me an email saying that you picked up Magnetic Emails.

PS:

This isn't to say that daily emails don't work.

Because they do.

Especially when you're doing a launch (like now), then you have to send daily emails to make sure you go over every problem and objection your prospects have.

But for most people (me included) it's better to focus on writing 1 high-quality email than to send 7 average ones.

Because here's the thing about writing emails:

It takes hundreds of emails to build a good reputation, but you only need 1 bad one to never be read again.

If you want to avoid that 1 bad email:
