My problem with viral posts
(the reason why most people will never see success with their viral threads)
“Ughh”
“Another post like this?”
“I wonder when they will ever discover how much it’s hurting their brands…”
It’s Saturday evening.
I’m lying on the sofa scrolling X and just saw another thread about Elon Musk.
I wouldn’t have had any problems with it if they made the post more interesting.
But the way they introduced him just made me gag.
——————
This is Elon Musk.
He’s the world’s wealthiest person on the planet.
Blah, Blah Blah
Garbage information here….
Here are 2349203412 of his best lessons that made me $23,913,023 in the past 24 hours:
——————
Obviously I’m exaggerating but you get the idea.
Here’s exactly what made me gag:
Everyone knows who Elon is
We know he’s the world’s richest man
1,000s of other posts wrote the same thing with the same angle
At this point, X has just become a race of who can go the most viral (by talking about other people we already know about) and not building their own brands.
Now, there’s nothing wrong with leveraging famous people (using authority by association) to get your foot in the door and build authority quickly.
But if that’s the only way you have of getting people’s attention, then you’re building your brand on loose soil.
Cuz whoever ends up following you, didn’t follow you because you were interesting, had something valuable to say, or had a different perspective that most people haven’t heard about.
But they followed you because you talked about someone else (someone they care about).
This is why I approach things differently.
I almost never use authority by association.
Because once you get known as the person who only talks about other people, then it’s very hard to pivot and position your brand later.
But there’s a different way, a better way to build your brand and authority (as a complete beginner).
What is that way you may ask?
Topics.
Let me explain.
When you talk about topics that people are interested in, they will listen to you.
And if you write it persuasively and build your argument around your perspective on the topic, then you get to build authority without having to sweat about it.
Because you showed them that you know what you’re talking about and that you’re not just the average Bob who talked to ChatGPT for 2 minutes and now thinks like he knows everything.
This is one of the reasons why I built The Science Behind Viral Threads.
It’s to help you build your brand and authority as a beginner.
This method is what has allowed me to go from:
100 email subscribers
Making less than $500/mo
To:
1,200 email subscribers
Making $2,000/mo+
But this offer isn’t going to last forever.
It ends after 11 hours.
Here’s what one of my clients, Darren had to say:
“Hussain’s insights completely transformed how I approach thread writing. His mentorship not only improved my writing but also reshaped the way I think about storytelling and audience connection. Working with him helped me produce my best work yet.”
Hope to see you inside my friend.

PS:
This isn’t to say that you should never use authority by association.
You just need to know how to use it properly.
You want to leverage their name, but you want to own the idea.
That’s why in lesson 4 of module 2, I go over a thread by one of my clients and show you how it’s supposed to be done.
One last thing:
When you get the offer today, you’ll also get 2 bonuses:
An invite to a private webinar where I’ll peel back the curtain behind my entire thread writing process
A personalized video of me reviewing your thread and giving you feedback
