A piece of advice from a creator who has 200k+ followers
Learn how to repurpose your content (the right way)
I’ll be honest… I got bored of writing.
I don’t mean this type of writing, but I mean academic writing so I decided to take a break from writing my assignment and now I’m writing this newsletter.
As a very responsible creator who has everything planned and ready to go. I didn’t know what to write about for today’s newsletter.
So what did I do?
I looked back at the early newsletters that I wrote and found a hidden gem!
I stumbled across something called “The Zero Waste Content Funnel”.
It’s used by every creator you look up.
Let me give you a glimpse of what it looks like:
• A creator writes a newsletter
• The newsletter turns into 3 threads
• Each thread turns into 5 stand-alone tweets
• The best-performing tweets are turned into TikTok and IG reals
• The best-performing threads are turned into LinkedIn and IG carousels
That’s 1 newsletter turned into 22 pieces of content!
Even some creator repost their content every 3-4 months.
Now, I’m not here to tell you how to write a newsletter and do all of that.
I’m a firm believer that as small creators we need to focus on a single platform until we build something sustainable.
But I wanted to talk to you about how you can repurpose your old tweets into new tweets that perform even better!
Make Use Of Your Sawdust.
When I first started posting on 𝕏, I struggled to write 1 tweet a day.
I didn’t have any inspiration or creative thoughts.
That was because I spent all of them writing comments under people’s posts.
But I spoke to a creator once who has a combined follower count of more than 200k.
We talked about repurposing content and how some people do it wrong.
Most people think repurposing content means taking a post and posting it somewhere else exactly the way it is.
They don’t understand that each platform has its own style of writing.
But anyways… back on topic.
What did the creator tell me?
Save your best-performing comments.
I know, it’s weird.
But he has a point.
Think about it. Your comment is seen by more people than your tweets.
That means if your comment has done (or think will do) well that means it will also do well as an original post (with some editing of course).
What I like to do is keep Hypefury (or any app where you keep drafts) and save the comments that have a personal story, advice, or new perspective.
Then whenever you go and start your writing session you can pull up your comments and see if you can turn them into original posts.
Currently, I have more than 230 drafts saved, they’re a mix of tweets, comments, and threads.
They have been a game-changer for me and they might also be a game-changer for you.
Kieran Drew also has a full module in his course High Impact Writing on how you can use data to grow.
His course is $297 right now, but it’ll go up to $397 on Monday. If you want get yourself a copy here.
PS:
If you have any problems that you want me to talk about let me know by replying to this newsletter. I respond to them all.

Yes, I use ChatGPT to help me with my academic writing (I can’t be bothered with writing 5,000-word essays) lol.
Thanks for reading!
